DAY 1 | Arrive in Amman (AMM). Meet our local friend who will help you through the airport and bring you to the hotel.
Hotel: Khan Kediw or similar
DAY 2 | AMMAN | Start your trip with a guided walk of the most preserved Roman city in the world - Jerash. Return to Amman and go to the Citadel, the highest point in the city as well as to a famous Roman theatre. In the evening, take a walk through vibrant Rainbow Street, peeking into some of the cute shops and trying local specialties. Around you, locals congregate with friends to drink tea or smoke shisha. Soak in the vibe of this bustling part of the city.
DAY 3 | Amman - Madaba - Mt Nebo - Dead Sea - Wadi Musa | Today we drive to the ancient town of Madaba to see the mosaic-rich churches. Continue to Mt Nebo following the footsteps of Moses to the top of the world where Moses saw the promised land. Visit his memorial tomb and get a view of Jericho, the Jordan River and the West Bank. Then drive to the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea. Enjoy an open buffet lunch and a swim at one of the Dead Sea resorts. Float out from the golden banks into a dreamy, salty seascape.
Then we go to Wadi Musa in the heart of the Mountains (and the home to one of the 7 wonders of the World - Petra). In the evening, visit a local family and enjoy a homemade dinner of Kabsah, a traditional Arab recipe for basmati rice topped with chicken pieces cooked until tender in tomato sauce with aromatic spices. The veg dish is Mujadara - Middle Eastern lentils and rice with crispy caramelized onion.
This is a great chance to learn from our hosts about the cuisine of the South and the family structure in the Jordanian mountain area. Return to your hotel overnight.

Day 4 | Petra | Today is a day to remember forever, it's Petra Day. Your guide will take you on a magical tour to enjoy and experience what this UNESCO heritage site has to offer. Walk through the Siq canyon to enter the hidden city and get awarded by the view of the Treasury. Hike up to the Sacrifice place, walk down the old stone paved streets, visit the old stone houses and the tombs of the Nabataeans. Top up the day with a hike up to the monastery cut down in the rocks of the highest place in Petra with a stunning view of the Jordan Valley. Petra is definitely the Wonder of the World. Return back after a long day to the comfort of your hotel room .

DAY 5 | Wadi Musa - Wadi Rum | Venture into the most famous desert in the Middle East - Wadi Rum. It was once known as the headquarters for Lawrence of Arabia. This area is famous for its red sand, rock formations and Bedouin tribes. Join our local Bedouin friends on their 4x4 trucks and explore the famous valley before heading to our campsite. Tonight you will have a traditional delicious Bedouin dinner under the stars.

DAY 6 | Wadi Rum - Aqaba | Wake up early and enjoy a breathtaking desert sunrise with a delicious Jordanian breakfast. Typical breakfast usually includes hummus, labaneh, Turkish cheese, cold cuts, olives, eggs, fruits, tea and coffee.
Drive to Aqaba, to the shores of the Red Sea. This region is known for its fantastic underwater life. Hop on a boat (we've got a yacht!), put on your snorkels and explore the colourful world of coral reefs below the surface. Enjoy lunch on the boat. In the evening, explore the vibrant coastal city of Aqaba.

DAY 7 | Aqaba - Amman | We set off on an unforgettable cycle journey from the vibrant Aqaba center to the picturesque Ayla oasis. Pass through a bird haven (with over 390 resident birds. Spend some time in the protected observatory, taking in the sights and sounds of nature before continuing to the Aqabawi cultural Centre which offers the art of mosaic. Learn about the intricate techniques of mosaic creation and watch the tapestries come to life. This studio supports local communities in the South of Jordan, fostering tourism experiences and preserving coastal heritage. This is a unique opportunity to engage with local artistry and traditions.
The bike ride is 20km, about 2-3 hours with stops and is rated easy/moderate.
Tonight's farewell is at a well known and locally loved restaurant where we will be taking a class with an incredible chef and learning how to make traditional dishes like Maqloubeh, Mutabbal, Musakhan Roll, grilled vegetables and salad.
