Day 1 | Tirana
Let’s start this adventure in the cosmopolitan city of Tirana. You'll get picked up from the airport and taken to your hotel before we start a walking tour of the capital city with the group.
Formerly dull and grey, the city has experienced a post-Communism boom and become a lively, colourful metropolis, with a unique atmosphere. Discover it through the stories old and new.
Activities start at 2pm. Please ensure your flight arrives before that if you are not doing the Montenegro extension.
Day 2 | Tirana - Theth
After breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive on a mountainous road in Northern Albania to get to village of Theth in the heart of the valley. In the afternoon, we'll explore the historic buildings of the village, enjoy the slow mountain lifestyle and enjoy delicious Albanian food for dinner.
Day 3 | Theth - Blue Eye
Today we're hiking to the gorgeous <Syri i Kaltër> or the Blue Eye. The picturesque hike ends at the rewarding turquoise waters. We'll swim in the cool water and have lunch in this splendid spot before we hike back to town.
Day 4 | Theth - Berat
After breakfast, we hop into our car and head for a scenic drive South to Berat. On the way, we have an option to stop at family owned vineyard to taste local Albanian wine and discover the underrated wine heritage of this region.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Berat, known as the town of a "thousand windows". Take a guided tour of the the Old City (be amazed by the 2400 year old fortress!)
Day 5 | Berat - Saranda
Free morning to explore Berat and have a slow breakfast before we head South to the Albanian Riviera. Free afternoon in Saranda. With no less than 300 sunny days a year, we'll bask in the sun and enjoy everything this place has to offer.
Day 6 | Saranda
Free day in the Albanian Riviera!
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site Butrint (option to add a guided tour where you'll learn about the city built by Trojans after the Fall of Troy), stroll the seaside walkway along the bay, enjoy breathtaking views from the monastery or just relax on the beach and swim in the crystal clear water!
Your Origin Travels trip host will be there to help organize the day! For dinner, let's gorge on the freshest seafood, have a drink at one of the seaside bars and talk about our favourite memories of Albania.
Day 7 | Saranda - Corfu
Enjoy your last breakfast in Albania! Say goodbye to the group or hop on the ferry to continue our epic journey into Greece!
Day 7-10 | Corfu
Opt to add on a Greek adventure - relax on the beaches, explore the island, get out on the water and indulge in delicious Greek cuisine. You deserve some island time to finish off the perfect Euro summer trip

4 DAYS AUGUST 9-12
For this part of the trip, we're staying on the picturesque island of Corfu. Its natural beauty and delicious Greek food will blow your mind. We'll have a full day of road trippin' around the island, exploring all the serene coves and sandy beaches that catch our eye. In the rest of our time on the island, we can explore the endless hiking trails, stunning beaches, medieval Corfu old town (one of the most beautiful old towns in Europe) and find the best spot for sunset cocktails.
